I found it hard to find a definitive list of things to pack and spent hours researching and buying the things I would need to keep my safe and clean in Asia.
4 x socks, 5 x pants, 3 x tops, 1 x long sleeve top, 2 x shorts, 1 x long cotton trouser, 1 x bikini. 1 x canvas shoes, 1 x flip flops.
Bandages, plasters, antiseptic wipes, Imodium, rehydration powder, savlon, sun cream (preferably one I’m not allergic to)
Ease of living;
Insect repellent Repel 55, repel 100, after bite, antihistamine, cortisone cream, Malarone anti-malarials, years supply of ‘the pill’, twisty washing line, silicone ear plugs, swiss army knife, international plug converter, Maglite, Somersets shaving oil, Dr Bronners multi wash, alarm clock, shoelace, gaffer tape, luggage locks, wire lock for securing bag to bed, microfiber towel, poncho, silk sleep sack, bowl and chopsticks.
Minimal amount of make-up, face wash, spf moisturiser, nail clippers. Unfortunately the straighteners didn’t make the cut. One months supply of sanitary products. Toothbrush, toothpaste. Ear buds.
Mobile phone, netbook, kindle, short ethernet cable, camera.
Just for me;
Sketchbook, watercolours, fineliner pens.
I hope this is all I need, as the time for packing is nigh. and this comes in at a grand weight of 11kg perfect for my small frame.
